Towards the Light ……..Finding the Dark

An exploration of bright light and darkness merging together to create dislocation by experimenting with deliberate camera shake, slow shutter speeds and a “pushed film” like approach. This project started before the pandemic, now on hold, almost seems prescient, I wanted a darker, more foreboding look, harsh contrasts and a general sense of unease and unseen.

The images here are work in progress and the project will continue to evolve once a state of normality resumes, I feel that this is not the time to look into the dark.
